Luuuuuuuuuuuke Leads Bantam 2 to NYHL Challenge Cup Title

2010 NHYL Challenge Cup Champs

Led by Luke Ravenelle's FOUR shutouts in the preliminary games, and a strong performance in the championship game, the Bantam 2's took home the NYHL Challenge Cup Championship this weekend in Marlborough, MA.

The Bantam 2's defeated Duxbury (4-0), Brewins (4-0) and Hanover (5-0) in the round robin portion of the tournament. The team played with great tenacity and determination during the round robin.  They then defeated a talented WHK team, 3-0, in the semi-final before outlasting the Lewiston Mainiacs 3-2 on a Robert Markusic OT goal.  Dover parent's chanted "Luuuuuuuuuke"  during the tournament games as a sign of support for Ravenell's outstanding performance.
